Upcoming LSO concerts

Timeless – March 21, 7:30pm; March 22, 2:00pm

Hi Everyone,

The last 24hrs have seen the circumstances at Southern Cross University evolve rather rapidly.

As a result of ongoing discussions and taking in to account the current circumstances, I have made the difficult decision to suspend rehearsals effective immediately. This means our March concert (and program) will also be postponed to November 28 & 29.

Full refunds of purchased tickets will be processed over the next 48hrs.

Our next performances are Proms by the Beach at the end of August.

These decisions aren’t taken lightly and affect many people. However, your safety and the safety of our musicians is front of mind and I believe this is absolutely the right call for the time. I want to publicly congratulate the orchestra for all of the work and energy they have put in to preparing for this performance. Speaking with conductor Ben van Kleef, we both believed that this was to be our best performance yet.

In light of all of this, you can perhaps think yourself lucky you didn’t have to hear, as MC, my jokes about sports grants and LSO moving to become a registered sporting club…

If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to email or call me on 0411 518 683.

Thanks for your understanding.
